Heather and I had the privilege to visit one of our greengrowers today. Please meet the Fletcher family. The lettuce from our first donation to John 3:16 was lovingly grown by them. Heather called it a "basket of love" on the radio. It was lovingly washed and septerated into seperate ziplocks ready to be delivered!
JaLynn is actually a master gardener and a stay at home mama to two beautiful little girls and a baby on the way! She and her husband have created an awesome 900 sq. ft. garden. We saw everything from blueberries to cotton growing! (The cotton came from her grandma's garden...that warms my heart!)
The corn, squash, zukes, green beans and lots of other goodies are just starting to peek up through the earth. They get the kids involved whenever possible...gardening is great for children! And, they have also gotten their parents involved with growgreen! The Fletcher's have big hearts and we are truly appreciative of their hard work and enthusiasm. Thank you Ben and JaLynn for all your labors of love!
Lillie and Sallie are posing on the Obelisk that was handmade by their daddy!

Lillie is showing off her treasures...in a shell...doesn't get much cuter than that!
