Tuesday/Wednesday Delivery

It was a team effort to pull of today's pickup and delivery. We met Rex (one of the growers) near our home (i had an ill child) to pick up the goodies from the downtown market. (Haylee, myself and another volunteer couldn't make it to the market yesterday!) Rex was kind enough to meet us. When I got home, there was a sack of okra and peppers on the front porch from Mrs. Kay Adams. I took all of the collected goodies with some of our okra mixed in to Haylee last night so she can take it to the Missions today. Phew! That's a mouthful. I think it illustrates what our volunteers will do in order to feed the hungry some healthy food!
